 Citizen Facilitation Center (CFC)    
   


Municipal Corporation issues a large number of Certificates, Permissions and NOCs as required by its citizens. For this purpose, it has various Citizen Facilitation Centers established at Ward level. The citizen applies for the Certificate/Permission or NOC as required by him at such Facilitation Center by filling up the relevant application forms. The respective authorities issue the Certificates or Licenses after verification of the application.


Existing System
At present, Most of the Facility Centers have a basic system, which facilitates only Data Capture from the duly filled application forms. When a particular application is received, applicant details are punched into the system, which generates a receipt for the applicant.

Here onwards, the entire process becomes manual. Each and every application is then manually dispatched to the respective departments where the application are duly checked and verified.

Once the application is accepted, the required Certificates are manually generated and then issued.

Limitations of the Existing System
Most of the work is manual and hence the entire process is time consuming.
No centralization of data and hence redundant data may exist in the database.
Important data regarding the applicant may not be captured from the various documents that are attached along with the application form.
No structured workflow.
Current status of any application cannot be tracked easily.

About Citizen Facilitation Center (CFC)
CFC is a complete Single Window System, which processes the applications received at the facility center, verifies them and generate the respective Certificate / Permission.

The system has a provision wherein the operator can punch in all the details of the applicant whenever he receives an application for a Certificate or a License. The System generates Acknowledgement Receipt for the citizen indicating the issuance date.

The application will then be automatically forwarded to the respective authority for verification. Once the application is verified and accepted, the system will automatically generate the required Certificate / Permission. In case application gets rejected, system will generate Rejection Note indicating reason of Rejection.
